Review – Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis #40 (One Year Later)
You know I don’t understand how DC is deciding on which titles get their numbering restarted and which ones don’t, but to me this probably should have been one of them. I didn’t read the issue before this, so maybe I am wrong and there is some kind of tie-in I missed.
I did read the interview with Kurt Busiek (only reason I bought this at all, to tell you the truth) on Newsarama.com back in Dec of 2005, and the preview of this issue a couple of weeks ago. Spoilers galore from here on out…

The way DC is making Infinite Crisis (IC) crossover stories happen simultaneously with issues of IC is on the confusing side as you see bits and pieces of events in more than one comic. Don’t get me wrong, Johns pulls it off pretty good in these two issues, but the part of these stories that was my favorite will probably surprise you. Most have probably read these already, but spoliers just in case…

The excitement over DC Comics’ “One Year Later ” continues as NIGHTWING #118 has sold out at the publisher and is going back to press for a new printing!
The NIGHTWING #118 Second Printing (JAN068271), reprinting the story by Bruce Jones, with art by Joe Dodd & Bit, will feature a recolored version of the cover by Jock. It is available for order now and scheduled to arrive in stores on April 12.
To ensure delivery on April 12, retailers must place orders by Sunday, April 2. Please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before April 2.
