I am rarely really moved by a piece of writing

as I was after reading the “Saying Goodbye To Comics” blog by Valerie D’Orazio.

I was sent to this blog from this weeks “Lying in the Gutters” column, who identifies Miss D’Orazio as “who used to work as an assistant editor at DC Comics and Acclaim, on books including “Identity Crisis,” “New Frontier,” “JLA” and “Aquaman.”

This blog has to be one of the most powerful piece of writing I have ever read. It is raw emotion transcribed into the electronic medium like I have never seen. I applaud her for writing it, and I hope she gets the acclaim she deserves.

If you decide to check it out, make sure to start at the beginning.
