THE NEW FF?
Marvel has released the image below by Michael Turner along with a press release asking, “Is this the new FF?”Safe bets (and the fact this image was leaked out/accidentally posted Thursday at the Diamond site and quickly taken down) say this image
refers to the new lineup the team will see circa March’s Fantastic Four #544, which will be written by Dwayne McDuffie and drawn by Paul Pellitier.
For those living under boulders, that’s Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), Ben Grimm (the Thing), Storm, and Black Panther.Of course, changes for the Fantsic Four’s core “four” aren’t unprecidented, as the team has rotated through various other heroes
over the years, including She-Hulk, Crystal, Sharon Ventura (Ms. Marvel, She-Thing), Medusa, Luke Cage, Ant-Man, and the Hulk,
Spider-Man, Wolverine and Ghost Rider replacing the entire team for three issues (#347-#349). Assumedly, the breakup of the team this time
will be related to the relationship difficulties between Reed Richards and Sue Storm that stemmed from Civil War.
