In January, ComicLink Auctions will offer the only Amazing Spider-Man cover art depicting the classic Spider-Man origin scene where Peter Parker is bitten
by the radioactive spider which gives him his super powers. This famous image is skillfully rendered by John Romita who also worked a lot of other detail into
this dynamic cover. The action cover has Spidey fighting the blood thirsty Beetle who is flying through the air with Aunt May in his clutches. There is
also a montage at the bottom with the important people in Peter’s early life as Spider-Man; J. Jonah Jameson, Betty Brant, Aunt May, Uncle Ben and the thief
that murdered Uncle Ben and led to Peter’s adopting the maxim of “with great power comes great responsibility” and to his becoming a superhero.
