WHO WANTS TO CREATE A SUPER-HEROINE FINALISTS SELECTED

The Top 5 Finalists have been chosen! Shadowline would like to thank everyone who has participated thus far in the first two phases of what we consider to be a successful beginning to a contest designed specifically for writers. The participation has been amazing, with about 5,000 entries submitted, and ongoing discussions taking place at forums all across the Internet. But the contest isn’t over yet… now more than ever, we need people to vote for the concept they want to see on the stands. This is your opportunity to have a say in what you read! You will be able to read all 5 synopses, and vote for the one you like the most.The synopses of all 5 finalists will be posted at www.kris-korner.com/forum on March 10 at 12PM (noon) Central (look for the Who Wants to Create a Super Heroine message board). You will have to register on the site to vote. We’ve taken precautions to prevent ballot box stuffing, but we do request that folks play fair and vote only once.
The names of the Top 5 Finalists will be withheld. However, they will be encouraged to go out and let people know that they are one of the 5, without giving away which synopsis is theirs. If they do, they will be disqualified. The goal is to encourage as many people as possible to vote for their favorite. All 10 of the semi-finalists that were chosen will have their original synopses (with their names) published in the back of the winning book when it hits the stands.
Voting begins March 10, 12pm (noon) Central Standard Time and ends on April 10, 12pm (noon) Central Standard Time. The winner will be officially announced shortly thereafter.
Shadowline will be releasing updates on the forum where the voting takes place, as the book progresses in its production. Sketches, character designs, and page layouts by Franchesco! and portions of the plot and scripts will be posted.
