New Comic Weblog Updates
In an effort to fill the void that was left when the Comic Weblog Updates page stopped working I made something similar here. This page doesn’t go as far back as the other page did, but it will update properly. The difference with my new page is that you don’t have to sign up with Blo.gs, or anything like that.
If you want your Blog added to this page, send me an e-mail with your info, and I will add it ASAP. RSS information is very helpful.
Thanks for coming by!!!
Update 1/27/07 @ 12:19am Central: The page should be a lot more stable now, since the intial surge of traffic has died down.
I have done some research and testing and discovered that the posts on the list will only update once an hour, no matter how much you refresh the page. Each of the feeds are updated seperately from each other as far as I can tell. So keep that in mind if you don’t find what you are looking for.
I also have an enhancement to this service. If you would prefer to view the page as an RSS feed, just add this link to your favorite RSS reader: http://services.newsgator.com/ngws/svc/opml.aspx?uid=37919&mid=9

[...] The Comics Weblog Update website may be gone, but it isn’t forgotten … Chris Mosby at Tales from the Longbox has reversed-engineered the code and set up a new comics weblog update page on his site: In an effort to fill the void that was left when the Comic Weblog Updates page stopped working I made something similar here. This page doesn’t go as far back as the other page did, but it will update properly. [...]

[...] Please welcome the Comic Weblog Updates Page back to the ¡Journalista! links list at left, bringing the number of linked pages back up to two. Actually, it’s the New Comic Weblog Updates Page — Chris Mosby apparently decided that he’s sick of not having such a thing handy, and built one of his own. Unlike the previous version, you don’t have to ping anything or sign up for a third-party system; if you run a comics-oriented blog, just email Chris at the link and give him your URL, and he’ll throw your page into the gumbo. As for me, my job as a linkblogger just got a bit easier. Thanks, Chris! [...]

[...] Also, if you’re reading this via syndication, you might not know that you can keep track of my comings and goings through upcoming.org, and that I’ve implemented Technorati’s link count widget. It was starting to look a little cluttered, so I ditched the monthly archive in favour of WP’s calendar. Chris Mosby was nice enough to add this blog to the Comic Weblog Update feed, so I guess I’m not completely offensive. [...]
